Yes.

LEED stands for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design. It is an internationally-recognized green building certification system developed by the U.S. Green Building Council.

What data protection services do you offer?2020-02-06T04:15:02-07:00

We offer regularly scheduled, on-call and drop-off shredding services for your confidential documents.

How does the regularly scheduled service work?2020-02-06T04:14:30-07:00

We provide free locking security cabinets and carts for you to use in your business. These containers can be placed wherever confidential documents are generated to ensure that employees don’t accidentally throw something in the trash. We empty the containers, shred them on-site in our truck and provide you with a Document of Destruction for your records.

How does the on-call service work?2020-02-06T04:14:03-07:00

We have a 33 foot long truck that holds an industrial shredder which we bring to your location. All of the paper is loaded into wheeled carts, weighed, shredded, and then removed for recycling. This service is billed by the pound but we will help you estimate how much you have so we can allocate enough time and help you approximate the total bill.

How does your drop-off service work?2020-02-06T04:13:33-07:00

Our “Shred Shed” is located at the Mailroom and Copy Center next to Kroeger’s Ace Hardware. Your documents are weighed and then placed in a locked container for temporary storage until we arrive to shred them. This service is a little more expensive by the pound but there is no minimum charge and you shred on your schedule.

What happens to the documents after shredding?2020-02-06T04:12:59-07:00

The shredded paper is removed in our truck, baled, loaded into semi-trucks, transported to a paper mill and recycled into new paper products.

What about staples and paperclips? Do those need to be removed?2020-02-06T04:12:32-07:00

No.

Is there any type of paper that cannot be recycled?2020-02-06T04:11:45-07:00

There are a few types of paper that we can’t recycle because they have a large amount of dye in them. If we find this paper while we are shredding we simply set it aside, shred it separately, and then dispose of it. You do not need to separate this paper and there is no additional charge.
